GUC 2010 Christmas Party
It was back to the 70's again as the Geniisys Users Circle celebrated its 2010 Christmas party with cool hair-get up and colorful hairsprays at the Milkyway Cafe on December 10, 2010. This year's main theme was to GLEE - Get together, Laugh, Eat & Enjoy, the HAIRSPRAY way.
This was indeed another good year to enjoy as more and more Geniisys users are being approved by the BIR and a much awaited Geniisys Web will be launched within the year 2011.
Geniisys users from top insurance companies GET TOGETHER to celebrate another year of accomplishments and to greet and enjoy each other’s company in this Christmas season.
The halls of Milkyway cafe was filled with LAUGHs and cheers as the guests participated in exciting games prepared by the Geniisys team. Imagined back pains or arthritis could not stop the guests from participating in the bone-breaking game Galaw Galaw. Led by Mr. Peter & Ms. Belle, the participants of this game must imitate a number of poses made by the leader. The one who possesses the best bodily kinesthetics and imitates all of the poses with great precision wins the game, and it’s no other than Mr. Nilo Fuerte of FPAC! The guests enjoyed a lot more games such as the Puppet Charades, Balloon Relay, Bring me, and Rollers Relay, but no one could deny the challenge they have been through in the most anticipated hard core game of all - the Karayom Relay. This game tested the participant’s hand and eye coordination as they tried to shoot a single thread through the holes of 5 needles. This nerve-racking game almost lasted approximately 20 minutes, but in the end, the group with the best eyesight and steady hand comprised of Mina Infante, Annie Oane, Cherry Braganza, Max Mari, Randyl Pulma, and Ramil Naungayan, was proclaimed the winner. If you ever wonder who won the best hair get-up, it is actually easy to guess, judging only by their overall air or presence plus the a unique choice of color for a wig, the best hairdo belongs to no other than the Victor Wood inspired get-up of Lope Cuaresma and the strawberry-like hairdo of Mylene Terante of Seaboard-Eastern Assurance, Inc.
Of course, the event will not be complete without good food. CPI and guests enjoyed EATing various tasty delicacies served buffet-style - a luscious Mediterranean salad with tomatoes, Olives, Tuna with Feta cheese, crusty pizza Margherita, Pepperoni, and Pesto, savory Pastel de Lengua, Putanesca, creamy Carbonara, and Bolognaise. To top it all, a Chocolate Truffle Cake and fresh cut fruits for dessert.
Good company, good laughs, and good food, no one can deny how this one year event can make GUC more unified and stronger. CPI will remain committed in bringing the most professional IT services to the Geniisys Users Circle, not to mention an ENJOYable Christmas party as a mark of celebration for the whole year’s accomplishments. May the coming years bring more success to the members of the Geniisys Users Circle, CPI and the whole Philippine Insurance Industry.
